I started raising and showing Mini Lops year 2009. Brenda Westover over at Westover Wabbits invited me to tag along to a local show and I was immediately hooked. I quickly became a registered member and rabbitry with ARBA and registered with MLRCA and AMLRC sortly after.

My rabbitry name is Painted Bunnies Rabbiry, abbreviated to PB's on my pedigrees, which was inspired by my love of art and of the various colors and patterns that Mini Lops come in. I proudly raise Mini Lops in both show quality and color. Though I prefer chocolate varieties I have a nice assortment of other colors in show quality!

I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of veteran breeders and am learning as much as I can. My goal is to better the temperament, type and health of my breed and herd. I do not use rabbits in my program that are nasty in temperament nor do I use rabbits that exhibit hereditary or incurable diseases/viruses. I also enjoy working side by side with several friends and fellow Mini Lop breeders in our district to further the quality of our breed.

I have a very strict schedule of cleanings and all incoming rabbits go through a minimum of a month quarantine, regardless of where they are coming from. No rabbit is placed into a new cage until that cage has been disinfected and cleaned. All bowls and water bottles are frequently cleaned as well. My rabbitry is kept very clean, with plenty of sunlight and fresh air. My rabbitry is heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer.

All my rabbits get daily snuggles, kisses and hugs. They're given toys for mental stimulation and a healthy and well balanced diet.

I always welcome any questions or concerns you may have. Regardless if you are buying a rabbit from me or from someone else. Rabbit education is very important to me. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.
